Please make every effort to request prescription renewals at the time of your office visit.  To avoid any inconvenience, your physician will routinely prescribe sufficient medication to last until your next visit to Eastern Urological Associates.  If it is necessary to call for a prescription renewal, please call your pharmacy during regular working hours so that your physician has the opportunity to review your medical record before approving or prescribing medication to the pharmacist.  On occasion, good medical care may indicate the need for the patient to be examined by a physician before a prescription renewal is issued.  Please allow 24 hours for prescription refill requests to be approved.  Prescriptions for routine medications and pain medications will not be refilled after 5:00 p.m.
