We appreciate your telephone calls.  When calling about your care, please call us between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., as early in the day as you can.  When you call, you will be directed to a nurse who will pull your medical record and gather the information needed by your physician.  After discussing your call with the doctor, the nurse will relay the doctor’s instructions to you.  If we are unable to answer your questions immediately, we will ask for a number at which you may be reached.  The nursing staff will make every attempt to respond to urgent calls as quickly as possible.  Non-urgent calls will be returned by the end of the work day.  Calls received after 3:30 will be returned by noon the next work day.  Please allow 24 hours for prescription refill requests to be approved.  Any life-threatening/emergency calls will be immediately advised to call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
